Kap. 3Barnaby’s Cardboard Rocket Adventure

They started cutting and taping the boxes together. Barnaby made the rocket body, Pip held the glue, and Luna drew stars on the sides. 'This is the best mission ever!' said Luna, wearing her blue headband. But then, Barnaby’s tail got tangled in the cardboard again. 'Oops!' he said, laughing. Pip giggled and helped untangle it. 'We need a seat for the pilot,' said Luna. 'I’ll be the pilot!' said Pip, climbing into the rocket with a squeaky helmet.

The rocket was ready! They rolled it down the hallway and out into the backyard. 'Mission control, we are launching!' said Luna, pretending to use a big radio. Barnaby pressed a button (which was really just a cardboard square) and the rocket zoomed forward. 'Whoa!' shouted Pip, holding on tight. They rolled past trees, over rocks, and into a big puddle. 'We’re in space!' said Luna, pretending to see aliens. But then, the rocket came to a stop. 'We’re stuck!' said Pip. The three friends laughed, knowing they had made the best adventure yet.
