Lila era una abuela muy activa y siempre tenía muchas cosas que hacer. Desde temprano en la mañana, se levantaba para ir a hacer los mandados y comprar todo lo necesario para el día.
Luego volvía a casa cargada de bolsas llenas de frutas, verduras y otros ingredientes. Pero eso no era todo, ya que también tenía que preparar la comida para su familia.
Todos los días cocinaba platos deliciosos y nutritivos, pero últimamente se sentía agotada por tantas responsabilidades. Un día, mientras Lila caminaba por el mercado buscando las mejores frutas, vio un letrero en una tienda que decía: "¡Aprende a delegar tareas! ". Aquello llamó su atención y decidió entrar para averiguar más.
Dentro de la tienda había un señor amable llamado Don Antonio. Él le explicó a Lila que aprender a delegar significaba pedir ayuda a otras personas para realizar algunas tareas.
Le dijo que aunque ella pudiera hacerlo todo sola, no estaba mal recibir apoyo de vez en cuando. Lila comenzó a reflexionar sobre esto y decidió darle una oportunidad.
Al llegar a casa, reunió a su familia alrededor de la mesa y les contó sobre su descubrimiento en el mercado. -"Chicos, estoy cansada de hacerlo todo yo sola. A partir de ahora quiero empezar a delegar algunas tareas", les dijo con determinación. Sus nietos estaban emocionados ante esta propuesta y aceptaron ayudarla sin dudarlo.
Juntos hicieron una lista con todas las tareas diarias: desde lavar los platos hasta barrer el patio. Cada uno eligió una tarea y se comprometió a hacerla bien. Los días siguientes fueron maravillosos para Lila.
Ahora tenía más tiempo libre para disfrutar de sus nietos y hacer cosas que le gustaban, como leer o tejer. Además, la comida seguía siendo deliciosa gracias a la colaboración de su familia.
Pero un día, Lila recibió una noticia inesperada: su amiga Rosa estaba enferma y necesitaba ayuda en su tienda de flores. Aunque Lila quería ayudar a su amiga, no sabía cómo iba a poder hacerlo sin descuidar sus propias tareas.
-"No te preocupes abuela", dijo su nieta Sofía con una sonrisa. "Nosotros podemos encargarnos de todo mientras tú ayudas a Rosa". Lila se emocionó al escuchar esas palabras y aceptó el ofrecimiento de su nieta.
Durante unos días, ella ayudó en la tienda de flores mientras sus nietos se ocupaban de los mandados y cocinaban para la familia. Al finalizar ese período, Lila volvió a casa llena de gratitud hacia su familia por haberla apoyado tanto.
Les preparó un delicioso almuerzo para celebrar juntos el trabajo en equipo. Desde aquel día, Lila aprendió que pedir ayuda no era signo de debilidad, sino una muestra de confianza y amor hacia los demás.
Ella comprendió que todos somos capaces de colaborar y compartir nuestras responsabilidades para hacer las cosas más fáciles y divertidas. Y así fue como la abuela Lila enseñó a sus nietos el valor del trabajo en equipo y la importancia de estar dispuestos a ayudar a los demás.
Juntos, aprendieron que cuando todos colaboramos, las tareas se vuelven más livianas y podemos disfrutar de momentos especiales en familia.
