Ignoring her father’s orders, Amalia ventured into the forbidden forest, armed not with weapons, but with a basket of freshly baked bread and a heart full of curiosity. She found Grok not terrorizing villagers, but tending a magnificent garden. Flowers bloomed in vibrant colors, vegetables grew plump and healthy, and the air hummed with the buzz of bees. Grok, a hulking figure with surprisingly gentle hands, looked up, startled.
Amalia, despite her initial fear, presented the bread. "A peace offering," she said, her voice trembling slightly. Grok, hesitant at first, accepted the gift. They spent the afternoon together.
