Tomás, a lonely boy who disliked Christmas, enters a holiday decoration contest to find joy. Despite feeling discouraged by extravagant displays, he discovers the true meaning of Christmas through friendship and love. In the end, Tomás wins the contest and realizes that he will never be alone during Christmas again.
Había una vez un niño llamado Tomás, quien vivía en un pequeño pueblo. Aunque la Navidad se acercaba y todos estaban emocionados por las luces brillantes y los regalos, a él no le gustaba esta época del año.
Siempre pasaba la Navidad solo, ya que sus padres tenían que trabajar. Un día, mientras caminaba triste por el pueblo, Tomás vio un cartel que decía: "¡Participa en el concurso de decoración navideña más hermosa! ".
Sin pensarlo dos veces, decidió participar para intentar encontrar algo de alegría en esta festividad. Tomás comenzó a recolectar ramas de pino y decoraciones viejas de su ático. Con mucho esfuerzo y dedicación, construyó una hermosa corona para colocarla en su puerta.
Estaba orgulloso de su creación y esperanzado de ganar el concurso. Al día siguiente, cuando salió a pasear por el pueblo para ver las demás decoraciones navideñas, quedó sorprendido al descubrir que todas eran enormes e impresionantes.
Las casas estaban llenas de luces parpadeantes y figuras gigantes inflables. Tomás se sintió desanimado al comparar su pequeña corona con todas aquellas maravillas.
Sin embargo, mientras caminaba hacia casa con la cabeza gacha, escuchó risas provenientes del parque del pueblo. Curioso, decidió investigar qué estaba ocurriendo allí. Cuando llegó al parque, encontró a un grupo de niños jugando bajo un gran árbol adornado con luces. Los niños estaban felices, riendo y compartiendo galletitas de Navidad.
Tomás se acercó tímidamente y preguntó si podía unirse a ellos. - ¡Claro que sí! - exclamaron los niños con entusiasmo. Tomás se sintió feliz al fin.
Juntos, comenzaron a jugar a las escondidas y construyeron un muñeco de nieve gigante. La tristeza que solía sentir durante la Navidad empezó a desvanecerse mientras disfrutaba del calor de la amistad.
