The Star-Child’s Great Journey
When the beautiful planet Krypton faces destruction, two loving parents send their infant son, Kal-El, on a journey through space to find safety. His small starship lands on Earth, where he is discovered by a kind couple who decide to raise the star-child as their own.

Once upon a time, far across the velvet curtain of space, there existed a magnificent world called Krypton. It was a place unlike any you have ever seen. Instead of mountains made of brown earth, Krypton had peaks of shimmering white crystal that reached up to touch the clouds. Instead of a yellow sun like ours, Krypton was warmed by a giant, glowing red sun named Rao, which bathed the entire world in a soft, ruby light. In the heart of the greatest city on this crystal planet, a baby was born. His parents, Jor-El and Lara, named him Kal-El. Kal-El’s nursery was filled with floating toys and glowing lights. His parents loved him very much, and they spent their days teaching him about the beauty of their world. Jor-El was a very wise scientist who understood how the stars moved and how the ground beneath their feet worked. Lara was a brave pilot and a kind soul who told Kal-El stories of the ancient heroes of Krypton. For a time, life was perfect. But Jor-El, with his clever instruments, discovered a great secret. Krypton was becoming unstable. The very core of the planet was shaking, like a giant waking up from a long, restless sleep. He knew that soon, their beautiful crystal home would be no more. Jor-El and Lara sat together by Kal-El’s cradle, their hearts heavy with love. They knew they could not save the whole planet, but they could save their precious son. Together, they worked day and night in their laboratory to build a very special vessel. It wasn't just a ship; it was a cradle made of the strongest metals, lined with the softest blankets, and filled with all the knowledge of their people. It was a small, silver starship designed to carry one tiny passenger to a place far, far away—a planet called Earth. Earth was a young, vibrant world with blue oceans and green forests. Most importantly, Earth had a bright yellow sun. Jor-El knew that under the light of a yellow sun, Kal-El would be special. He would be strong, fast, and able to do things no one else could. On the final night, as the ground began to rumble and the crystal towers hummed with tension, Lara wrapped Kal-El in a red cape made from her own favorite shawl. She kissed his forehead and whispered, 'You will travel far, my little Kal-El. But we will always be with you, in your heart and in your memories.' Jor-El placed a small crystal into the ship’s computer, containing their voices and their love. With a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit, Jor-El pressed the launch button. The small silver ship rose into the ruby sky, trailing a stream of white light. As it broke through the atmosphere, Kal-El looked back one last time at the shimmering world of red and white before the ship entered the deep, quiet dark of space. The journey was long, but the ship was warm and safe. It hummed a gentle lullaby to the baby as it zipped past swirling nebulae, sparkling comets, and distant galaxies. Kal-El slept peacefully, dreaming of the red sun while he flew toward the yellow one. Millions of miles away, on a quiet farm in a place called Kansas, the sun was just beginning to set over golden fields of corn. Jonathan and Martha Kent were driving their old truck down a dusty road when they saw a streak of light across the sky. It wasn't a shooting star; it was something much more magical. The ship landed softly in their field, creating a gentle path through the stalks. When the Kents approached the glowing silver object, the top slid open with a soft hiss. There, wrapped in a red cape and reaching up at the twinkling stars, was a beautiful baby boy with a tuft of dark hair and the brightest blue eyes they had ever seen. He wasn't crying; he was smiling. Martha reached down and lifted him into her arms. She felt an immediate bond, a sense of wonder that this child from the stars had found his way to them. 'He’s a miracle,' she whispered to Jonathan. They didn't know where he came from or why he was there, but they knew one thing for certain: they would love him as if he were their own. They named him Clark, and they took him home to their little farmhouse. As the yellow sun rose the next morning, it cast a golden glow over the house, and little Clark felt a new kind of strength tingle in his fingertips. The story of Kal-El had ended on Krypton, but the story of the boy who would become a hero was just beginning on Earth.
