Había una vez una princesita llamada Iris. No era una princesita común. Mientras que otras princesas bordaban tapices y aprendían a tocar el arpa, Iris prefería explorar los rincones olvidados del castillo. Un día, siguiendo un sendero cubierto de hiedra, descubrió una puerta secreta. Al abrirla, se encontró con un jardín completamente descuidado. Las rosas estaban mustias, las fuentes secas y las estatuas cubiertas de musgo. A Iris le dio mucha pena. Este jardín necesita vida, pensó.
Iris comenzó a trabajar en el jardín. La carta decía que la verdadera belleza no reside en la riqueza o el poder, sino en la capacidad de cuidar y amar. Iris entendió que su abuela le había dejado un regalo mucho más valioso que cualquier joya: la capacidad de transformar la tristeza en alegría. Y así, la princesita Iris, la que amaba los rincones olvidados, se convirtió en la princesa más amada de todo el reino, no por su linaje, sino por su corazón.
