Hyoga, the Saint of the Swan, loved the cold. He could summon glittering ice shards and even freeze rushing waterfalls! Shun, the Saint of Andromeda, preferred peace. His Nebula Chain, delicate as a spiderweb, could defend him without hurting anyone. One day, their master told them they must spar. Hyoga was excited. Shun, however, didnt want to fight his friend.
"I wont hurt you, Shun," Hyoga promised, his breath misting in the frosty air. He launched a flurry of Diamond Dust, tiny ice crystals that shimmered like snow. Shun gracefully dodged, his chain swirling around him like a protective ribbon. "I dont want to fight you either, Hyoga," Shun said gently. He tried to reason with Hyoga, but Hyoga was determined to test his strength.
Hyoga then unleashed his Holodny Smerch, a whirling vortex of icy wind. Shuns chain danced and deflected the attack, but the cold air nipped at his skin. He knew he couldnt keep dodging forever. With a sigh, Shun finally extended his Nebula Chain. It wrapped gently around Hyogas arm, stopping him mid-attack. "See, Hyoga? We dont need to fight," Shun explained. "My chain protects me without causing harm." Hyoga looked at the delicate chain, then at Shuns kind face. He realized Shun was right. They could learn from each other without hurting each other. "Youre strong in a different way, Shun," Hyoga admitted. He smiled, the tension melting away like snow in the spring sun. From that day on, Hyoga and Shun continued to train, respecting each others unique strengths.
