Clouds and Curiosity: A Weather Walk with Leo

As they walked through the park, Leo pointed up at the sky. 'Look, Barnaby! Those clouds look like bunnies!' he laughed. Miss Halloway smiled from behind her glasses, her green dress swaying gently. 'Clouds can look like many things, Leo,' she said. 'They can be animals, shapes, or even feelings.' Sophie gasped. 'What if a cloud is a feeling? Like a happy cloud or a sad cloud?' she asked. Miss Halloway nodded. 'That’s a great idea, Sophie. Let’s try to find clouds that match our feelings today.'

Leo looked up again, his eyes wide with wonder. 'This cloud looks like a smile!' he said, pointing to a fluffy white shape. Barnaby barked, wagging his tail as if he agreed. Sophie giggled. 'That one looks like a dragon!' she said, jumping up and down. Miss Halloway helped them name the clouds, and they all laughed and played in the sunshine. When the sky turned a soft pink in the evening, Leo felt happy and proud. 'I think I understand clouds better now,' he said. 'And maybe I understand my feelings, too.' Barnaby licked his face, and they all walked home, full of joy and new discoveries.
