The Kite Seed

Maya arrived with her braided hair tied neatly. She wore her green sweater and glasses. 'I’ve been trying to fly a kite all week,' she said. 'It keeps falling down.' Nana Flora nodded. 'Let’s plant the seed together. We need to practice and be patient.' Leo and Maya dug a hole in the soft soil. They placed the seed inside and watered it with the Water of Effort. 'It will grow if we try,' Nana Flora said with a warm smile.

The next day, Leo and Maya met again in the garden. The seed had grown into a small plant. 'Let’s try flying a kite now,' Maya said. They ran with a kite in the wind, but it still fell. 'Don’t give up,' Nana Flora encouraged. They tried again and again. Finally, the kite lifted into the sky. Leo laughed with joy. 'We did it!' Maya smiled. The kite seed had bloomed, showing that effort and patience can help you fly high.
