In a quiet village nestled between hills and stars, there lived a baker named Elara who loved to make the softest cinnamon rolls in all the land. Every night, just as the moon rose high, she would set out a fresh batch of rolls on her windowsill, hoping to share her joy with the world. One night, a gentle voice whispered, 'Thank you.' Elara looked up and saw the moon, glowing softly, with a face full of wonder. 'You make the most delicious rolls,' the moon said, 'but I never get to taste them. I live so far away.'
Elara smiled kindly. 'Would you like one? I can make a special recipe for you.' She reached into her kitchen and pulled out a jar of stardust sugar, a secret ingredient she had found long ago. She sprinkled it into the dough, and as she baked, the kitchen filled with the scent of cinnamon, honey, and something magical. When the rolls were done, she carefully placed one on a silver plate and floated it up to the moon with a soft gust of wind.
The moon took the roll with joy and nibbled it slowly. 'This is the best I have ever tasted,' it said, eyes twinkling. 'You are very kind, Elara.' From that night on, the moon came every evening, and Elara made it a new treat each time. The village children would look up at the sky and see the moon smile, and they would whisper, 'The baker is sharing with the moon.'
One night, the moon said, 'I have something to share with you too.' It sprinkled a little stardust on Elara's hands, and she felt a warmth spread through her. 'Now you can always bake magic.' From that day on, Elara’s rolls had a little bit of moonlight in them, and the village never felt lonely again. The end.
