Indian Folk Tales Stories: The Brave Little Sparrow

In a lush green forest at the edge of the Himalayas, there lived a tiny sparrow named Lila. Though she was the smallest bird in the forest, Lila had a heart full of courage and a voice that could sing the morning sun into the sky. Suddenly, the trap gave way with a snap. The ropes loosened, and Duni was free. He jumped up and hugged Lila, who giggled and flapped her wings. The fox, who had been watching from the bushes, was shocked. He had come to steal eggs, but instead, he saw the animals standing together, stronger than ever. He ran away, his tail between his legs, and the forest was quiet again.

From that day on, the animals knew that courage wasn’t about being big or strong—it was about believing in yourself and in others. Lila became the forest’s little hero, and every morning, she would sing to the trees, knowing that even the smallest bird could change the world.
