Princesses from Fairy Tales and the Moonlight Bridge

One quiet night, under a shimmering full moon, a soft breeze whispered through the trees of the Enchanted Forest. The trees had long been known to guard the path to the Moonlight Bridge, a magical place where fairy tales come to life. But tonight, something was different. A small child, lost and frightened, stumbled into the forest, clutching a tiny lantern that flickered like a firefly.

"Hello there!" called a gentle voice. The child looked up to see a princess with golden hair and a cloak made of stardust. "Are you lost?" The child nodded, eyes wide with worry. "I was following a rainbow, but now I don’t know where I am."

The princess smiled kindly. "You’ve come to the right place. I’m Princess Liora, and I live near the Moonlight Bridge. I can help you, but I need friends."

With a wave of her hand, the forest shimmered. From behind the trees came Princess Selene, with her silver gown and a crown of moonflowers, and Princess Anika, whose dress was woven with the colors of the rainbow. They all gathered around the child.

"We can help you find your way home," said Princess Selene. "But first, we need to cross the Moonlight Bridge. It’s not far, but it’s guarded by a friendly monster who only lets people through if they answer his riddle."

"What’s the riddle?" the child asked, eyes bright with curiosity.

The monster, a giant with mossy skin and glowing green eyes, stepped forward. "What is it that grows taller when it’s sad, but shorter when it’s happy?"

The child thought for a moment. "A candle?" they said. The monster nodded and stepped aside, letting them pass.

As they crossed the bridge, the moonlight turned the path into a path of silver stars. The princesses and the child walked together, sharing stories of their own tales. Princess Anika told of her journey to find the rainbow, Princess Selene spoke of her love for the moon, and Princess Liora shared how she once helped a lost star find its way back to the sky.

"You know," said the child, "it’s nice to have friends who help you when you’re lost."

"That’s the magic of the Moonlight Bridge," said Princess Liora. "It brings people together."

When they reached the edge of the forest, the child looked back at the princesses, smiling. "Thank you for helping me. I’ll never forget you."

The princesses waved, and with a soft glow, they faded into the night, just as the first stars appeared in the sky. The child turned home, heart full, lantern now shining brighter than ever.

And so, the princesses from fairy tales returned to their stories, knowing that kindness and friendship could light even the darkest path.
