In a quiet village nestled between rolling hills and sparkling streams lived a little girl named Lila. She had a curious heart and a mind full of questions. Every morning, Lila would run through the village square, past the baker’s warm smells and the blacksmith’s clanging sounds, toward the edge of the woods where the Whispering Willow stood. No one knew where the tree had come from, but everyone knew its leaves never fell, even in winter, and they always whispered secrets to those who listened closely.

One day, as Lila skipped past the willow, she heard a soft, musical voice. 'Hello, little one,' it said. 'Would you like to hear a secret?' Lila stopped, eyes wide. 'Yes!' she said. She leaned in, and the willow’s leaves rustled, telling her of a hidden grove where flowers bloomed all year round. 'But,' the willow added, 'the secret must be shared with someone else, or it will vanish.'

Lila ran home, her heart full of excitement. She told her mother about the secret grove, but her mother only smiled and said, 'That sounds like a lovely place to visit, but maybe you should go there with a friend.' So Lila ran back to the willow and asked, 'Can I bring my friend Mia with me to the grove?' The willow whispered, 'Of course, but only if she knows the secret too.'

Lila went to find Mia, her best friend, and shared everything she had learned. Mia’s eyes sparkled, and together the two girls returned to the willow.
