The Story of 3 Pigs and the Friendly Monster

Once upon a time, in a cozy valley where the sun always peeked through the trees, there lived three little pigs named Pippin, Pongo, and Priscilla. Each of them loved to build houses, and each had their own way of doing it. Pippin, the youngest, built his house of straw. Pongo, the middle pig, built his of sticks. And Priscilla, the eldest and wisest, built hers of sturdy bricks, brick by brick, with careful hands and a determined heart.

One chilly morning, the three pigs gathered for breakfast, nibbling on juicy carrots and sipping warm milk. Pippin bragged about how fast he had built his straw house, while Pongo laughed and said his stick house was just as strong. Priscilla simply smiled, her eyes full of quiet confidence.

That evening, as the moon rose high, a deep, rumbling growl echoed through the valley. The pigs froze. From the shadows came a big, green monster with bright yellow eyes and a bushy tail. He was not angry, but he was very, very hungry. 'I'm just looking for something to eat,' he said in a voice like thunder. 'I heard there are pigs around here.'

Pippin’s straw house blew down with a single gust of wind, and Pongo’s stick house wobbled and fell. The monster sniffed the air, then pointed at Priscilla’s brick house. 'That one’s strong,' he said. 'But I’m not here to destroy it. I just want something to eat.'

Priscilla, instead of running, stepped forward. 'We have carrots, and some fresh apple pie,' she said kindly. 'Would you like some?' The monster blinked, surprised. 'You’re offering me food? I thought you were afraid of me.'

Priscilla smiled. 'I’m not afraid of you. You just look hungry.' She opened the door and invited the monster in. He ate heartily, and as he finished, he sighed. 'I haven’t had a good meal in days. I used to live in the forest, but I got lost and couldn’t find my way back.'

The pigs decided to help. They built a map with sticks and stones, showing the monster the way back to the forest. The monster thanked them, hugged each pig, and with a loud 'RUMBLE!' disappeared into the night, leaving behind a trail of sparkling stars.

From that day on, the three pigs lived in harmony, not just with each other, but with the creatures of the forest. And whenever the wind blew through the valley, it carried the sound of laughter and the scent of apple pie, a reminder that kindness is the strongest magic of all.
