The Story of a Rabbit Who Loved to Sing

In the heart of the Whispering Woods, where the trees hummed softly and the brook sang lullabies, lived a little rabbit named Lila. She had soft gray fur, a twitching nose, and a voice that was as quiet as a dandelion seed. While the other rabbits hopped and played, Lila would sit under the old willow tree and hum to herself, her songs so soft that only the wind could hear them.

Lila tilted her head. "Maybe it’s not broken. Maybe it just needs to be heard."

Grum blinked. "But I’m a monster! No one wants to hear a monster sing."

Lila thought for a moment, then hopped up on a fallen log beside him. "I’ve never heard anyone sing like you. You have a beautiful voice."

Grum’s eyes widened. "You really think so?"

"I know so," Lila said. "Let me help you."

Every day after that, Lila would visit Grum in the log. She brought him flowers, stories, and sometimes even her favorite song. Slowly, his voice began to change. The croaks turned into notes, and the shaky tones became something warm and strong. One day, he sang a song that made the birds stop flying and the brook pause its song to listen.

When the other animals heard the beautiful melody, they came running. They had never heard anything like it—a song that was both scary and sweet, like thunder and rain. They surrounded the log, listening with wide eyes and open hearts. Even the bravest fox, who had once chased Lila, stopped to listen.

"You have a wonderful voice," said a squirrel. "I didn’t know monsters could sing like that."
