In the year 600 B.C., in an improvised hospital in ancient Greece, Doctor Elias, a wise man with a long beard and a white robe, tended to his patients. His clinic was a small cabin filled with shelves of dried herbs, glass bottles filled with strange liquids, and ceramic jars with ointments. Doctor Elias was known for his dedication and his ability to cure diseases with natural remedies. One day, while examining a young shepherd with an infected wound, he felt a strange vibration in the air.
Suddenly, a thick green mist invaded the cabin. Doctor Elias coughed, trying to see through the fog. When the mist cleared, the young shepherd had disappeared and in his place stood a trembling old man, dressed in strange clothes and speaking in an unknown language. The old man extended a hand toward Doctor Elias, begging for help. Elias, despite his fear and confusion, approached cautiously. The old man pointed to his chest, groaning in pain. Elias, understanding the man's need, helped him lie down on an improvised stretcher. He examined the old man and discovered a deep wound on his side, similar to the one he had seen in the shepherd, but much more severe. Elias knew he needed a powerful remedy, something he had never used before. He searched among his jars and bottles, desperate to find something that could ease the old man's suffering. Time was running out, and the old man's life hung by a thread.
The situation was critical. Elias tried different combinations of herbs and ointments, but nothing seemed to work. The old man was breathing with difficulty, his face pale and sweaty. Suddenly, Elias remembered an ancient legend about a healing elixir, kept in a special glass bottle, said to be able to cure any illness. The legend claimed that the elixir only appeared in moments of extreme need, when someone's life was in danger. Elias searched frantically among his glass bottles, hoping to find the elixir. While searching, he heard a weak whisper from the old man. The old man murmured incomprehensible words, but Elias could distinguish one word: 'Time.' This word resonated in Elias's mind, making him feel a strange connection with the old man. He felt that the old man was not from his time, that he had traveled from a distant and unknown place. This revelation drove him to search even more determinedly for the healing elixir.
Finally, at the back of a dusty shelf, Elias found a glass bottle he had never seen before. It was a brilliant blue color, with a golden liquid inside that shimmered with its own light. Elias felt a powerful energy emanating from the bottle. With trembling hands, he opened the bottle and brought the liquid close to the old man. The old man opened his eyes and drank the elixir in one gulp. Instantly, his face regained color and his breathing became more regular. The wound on his side began to heal before Elias's astonished eyes. The old man smiled weakly and, in perfect ancient Greek, said: 'Thank you, Doctor. You have saved my life.'
At that very moment, the cabin began to vibrate again. A blinding light surrounded the old man, and in the blink of an eye, he disappeared. In his place appeared a strange machine, bright and full of blinking lights. The machine opened, and a robotic voice said: 'Destination fulfilled. Returning to the future.' The machine disappeared in a flash of light, leaving Elias alone in his cabin, with the empty blue glass bottle in his hand. Confused but amazed, Elias realized he had been part of something much bigger than himself, something related to time and the science of the future. He knew that his life as a doctor in the year 600 B.C. would never be the same again.
