In a quiet corner of the night sky, there lived a little star named Lumi. Lumi was small and bright, but she was also very shy. Every evening, when the other stars twinkled proudly, Lumi hid behind the clouds, afraid that her light was not strong enough to be seen.
One night, a young girl named Mia looked up and saw Lumi peeking through the clouds. "You’re so pretty," Mia whispered. Lumi felt a warm glow in her heart. "I wish I could shine for you," she said, though she was still too scared to come out.
The next night, Mia came back, carrying a small lantern. "I brought you a friend," she said, placing the lantern on the grass. Lumi watched as the light from the lantern reflected in the dewdrops, and she realized that even small lights could bring happiness. Slowly, she stepped out from the clouds, her tiny starlight joining the lantern’s glow.
Word spread across the sky, and soon, all the stars came down to join Lumi and Mia. Together, they painted the night with light, laughter, and stories. Lumi was no longer afraid. She had learned that sharing her light made the world brighter for everyone.
From that day on, Lumi shone boldly, knowing that even the smallest of us can make a big difference. And every night, she and her friends twinkled just for Mia, and for all the dreamers beneath the sky.
