The bright morning sun feels very warm and golden on the green grass. Maia runs outside into her big, beautiful garden with a giant smile. She is a curious 6-year-old girl who loves to learn about everything. She has wild, curly brown hair that bounces up and down when she jumps. Her bright green eyes sparkle like little emeralds in the morning light. Today, Maia wears her favorite yellow sunflower dress with small white buttons. She wants to use her five senses to explore the backyard. First, she uses her eyes to see the beautiful world around her. "I see a tiny red ladybug sitting on a leaf!" she shouts happily to the trees. She looks at the tall green grass and the clear blue sky. Then, she walks slowly to the flower bed. She uses her nose to smell the colorful flowers. She leans down to a big, pretty pink rose. It smells very sweet and fresh, just like summer honey. The garden is full of wonderful and amazing scents.
