The Drumming Knights of Camelot

The knights sat on the grass, surrounded by old shields, tin cans, and ribbons. Merlin showed them how to stretch a piece of leather over the top of a shield and tie it tightly with rope. 'This will be the big drum,' he said. Then, he took a tin can, cut a small hole in the top, and tied a piece of string through it. 'This will be the small drum,' he added. Lancelot tried it and laughed. 'It sounds like a tiny dragon!' Gawain smiled and tied a red ribbon around the can. 'It sounds like a jester!' they all giggled.

The knights worked together, making their drums with care. Queen Guinevere came by with a basket of colorful ribbons and helped tie them around the drums. 'These will make the music sound even more magical,' she said. King Arthur joined them too, holding a large shield. 'Let’s all play together!' he said. The courtyard filled with the sound of drums, laughter, and joy. The kingdom was no longer silent. It was alive with music and friendship.
