Incy the Iguana’s Ink Adventure
Incy is a tiny, bright green iguana. She has a very long tail and big, happy eyes. Incy lives in the deep, green jungle. Every day, Incy likes to sit on a big leaf. She likes to sit in the warm sun. Incy is a very happy iguana. She loves to explore the jungle and find new things to see. The jungle is full of tall trees, bright flowers, and many friends. Incy the iguana is always ready for a fun day.
One morning, Incy goes for a long walk. She walks in the tall grass. She walks under the big trees. Incy sees a mountain. At the bottom of the mountain, there is a big cave. It is a dark cave. Incy is very curious. She wants to see what is in the cave. Incy walks slowly. She is a brave little iguana. She wants to know who lives in the dark cave.
Incy walks into the cave. "Hello?" she calls out. Her voice echoes. "Is anyone in here?" Suddenly, she hears a tiny buzz. She hears a tiny click. Incy looks down at the ground. She sees a small, purple insect. The insect has six legs and two long feelers. "Hello, Incy!" says the insect. "I am Izzy. I am an insect." More insects come out of the shadows. They are all colors. There are red insects, blue insects, and yellow insects. They are all very friendly. They all like Incy the iguana.
"Would you like to visit our house?" Izzy asks. "Yes, please!" says Incy the iguana. The insects lead Incy deep into the cave. They come to a special room. In the middle of the room is a house. It is a round, white house. It looks just like a snowy igloo! "We live in this igloo because it stays cool," says Izzy. Incy goes in the igloo. It is very cozy in the house. Incy likes being in the igloo with her new friends.
The insects have a surprise for Incy. They bring out a big bowl. "It is time for ice cream!" they shout. The ice cream is pink and white. It is very cold and sweet. Incy takes a big bite. It tastes like yummy strawberries. "I love ice cream!" Incy says. They all eat the ice cream together. Incy is happy to be in the igloo with her insect friends. They laugh and eat until the bowl is empty.
After eating, one little insect named Ivan sits down. He looks a bit sad. "Are you okay, Ivan?" Incy asks. "I feel a bit ill," says Ivan. "My tummy hurts a little bit from the cold ice cream." Incy is a kind iguana. She gets a small, soft blanket. She puts it on Ivan. "Rest here in the igloo," says Incy. Ivan rests for a little while. Incy tells him a story. Soon, Ivan feels much better. He is not ill anymore! He jumps up and down with joy.
"Now, let’s play!" says Izzy. The insects bring out a big wooden box. They open the box. "Look!" they say. "We have ink!" Inside the box are jars of bright ink. There is bright blue ink. There is bright red ink. Incy has a great idea. She wants to paint a picture. She dips her little iguana toes in the blue ink. She presses her toes on a large white leaf. Step, step, step! Now there are blue footprints on the leaf!
Then, Incy dips her tail in the red ink. She wiggles her tail across the leaf. Swish, swish, swish! Now there are red swirls on the leaf! The insects help too. They use their tiny legs to make little dots in the ink. The blue ink and the red ink look beautiful together. They make a masterpiece. "What a wonderful picture!" says Incy. The ink is bright and colorful. It is the best picture in the whole jungle.
The sun begins to set outside the cave. It is time for Incy to go home. "Thank you for the ice cream," says Incy. "And thank you for letting me play with the ink." "Come back soon, Incy!" the insects say. Incy the iguana walks out of the cave. She walks through the jungle. She thinks about her new friends. She thinks about the igloo and the ice cream. Incy is the happiest iguana in the whole jungle. She goes to sleep on her big leaf and dreams of blue and red ink.
