A Dog Story: The Lost Button and the Moonlight Path

One quiet evening, beneath a sky painted with stars, a small white puppy named Pippin sat by the window of his cozy cottage, his tail wagging gently. His human, a kind old man named Mr. Thistle, had just sewn a new button onto his favorite coat, and Pippin had been watching closely.
