The teacher, Mrs. Owl, smiles at everyone. It is time to learn! First, the friends go to the cozy library corner. They sit on soft pillows. We read big books with colorful pictures. Benny likes the book about stars. Lily likes the book about carrots.
Next, the animals sit at their little wooden desks. They have bright crayons and white paper. We write our names. Benny writes a big 'B'. Lily writes a pretty 'L'. Leo writes a brave 'L' too. Writing is very fun!
Now, it is time for recess! The sun is warm on the green grass. The friends run to the playground. We jump over the small logs. Boing! Boing! Lily jumps very high. Leo jumps over a puddle. Benny jumps and laughs.
Playing makes the animals very hungry. They sit at the big picnic table under the oak tree. We eat sweet red apples. Crunch! Crunch! The apples are delicious. We are very thirsty after running. We drink cold water from our blue bottles. Gulp! Gulp! It feels very refreshing.
The school bell rings. It is time to go home. Benny, Lily, and Leo give Mrs. Owl a big wave. They are very happy. They learned so many things today. Forest School is the best place to be. See you tomorrow, friends!
