In a small village tucked beneath a sky that never quite slept, there lived a girl named Lila who loved to listen to the wind. She would sit on her grandmother’s porch, her knees pulled up to her chest, as the breeze whispered stories through the tall grass and the creak of the old wooden gate. The other children played tag or climbed trees, but Lila preferred the quiet, the way the world felt when it held its breath just before midnight.

One night, as the stars blinked awake and the moon hung like a silver lantern in the sky, Lila noticed something strange. A soft, silvery thread was drifting down from the clouds, falling gently onto the garden. She followed it with her eyes, and there, beneath the moonlight, sat a figure no taller than a rabbit, weaving strands of light into a shimmering tapestry that floated just above the ground. Lila tilted her head, curiosity lighting her face. "Can I help?"

The Weaver looked at her, then at the half-finished tapestry. "You must be very still, and very quiet. One wrong move, and the dreams will unravel."

Lila nodded, and the Weaver gave her a tiny spool of moonlight thread. She sat beside it, her breath slow, her fingers gentle. At first, the thread was hard to control—it slipped through her fingers like water. But Lila didn’t give up. She practiced, again and again, until the thread moved like an extension of her hand.

As the hours passed, the tapestry grew. Stars bloomed into flowers, the moonlight turned into ribbons that danced in the air, and the dreams of children from far and wide wove themselves into the fabric. The Weaver stood, and the tapestry lifted into the sky, glowing like a new constellation. "You have done well, little weaver," it said. "Remember, the most beautiful dreams are made not by speed, but by care."
