Mariel and Peluchín: Adventure in Colors!

Hello, little friends! This is the story of Mariel, a very curious four-year-old girl, and her best friend, Peluchín, a super cuddly stuffed bear. Mariel and Peluchín were inseparable, always together on all their adventures.

One day, Mariel was playing in her house's garden. She saw her dad taking an empty cardboard box to a blue bin. "What are you doing, Dad?" asked Mariel, running toward him with Peluchín in her arms.

"I'm recycling, Mariel," replied her dad. "This blue bin is for paper and cardboard. This way, we take care of our planet." Mariel looked at the blue bin with curiosity. She had never paid attention to it before.

The next day, at school, Mariel saw other colored bins. One was yellow! The teacher explained: "Children, the yellow bin is for plastic and metal containers, like water bottles and juice cans."

Then they saw a green bin. "This is for glass!" said the teacher. "Glass bottles and jars go here." Mariel realized that each color had a special purpose.

In the afternoon, Mariel and Peluchín went to the park. They saw someone throwing a banana peel on the ground. Mariel remembered what she learned at school. "No, no!" exclaimed Mariel. "That goes in the brown bin for organic waste, like food and leaves."

The person was surprised and picked up the banana peel, throwing it into the correct bin. Mariel smiled. She was helping to take care of the planet!

From that day on, Mariel and Peluchín became the recycling superheroes. At home, at school, and in the park, they were always alert to make sure everyone used the right bins. They learned that every small act of recycling helps keep our planet clean and healthy for everyone.
