Princess Bedtime Stories: The Moonlight Guardian

Once upon a time, in a kingdom nestled between whispering forests and silver rivers, there lived a young princess named Liora. She was not a princess who chased dragons or wore armor, but one who loved stories, songs, and helping others. Every night, as the sun dipped behind the hills, Liora would sit by the window, watching the moonlight paint the world in shimmering silver. 'Help you with what?' Liora asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

'Our kingdom is safe by day, but by night, shadows stir. Some are just dreams, but others are fears—fears that grow when children are lonely, scared, or unsure. I can guide the light, but I need someone to carry it to those in need.'

Liora's heart swelled with wonder. 'I would help you, Nyx. I want to be the light for others.'

From that night on, Liora walked the kingdom with Nyx by her side. They visited children who couldn’t sleep, telling them stories of brave mice who outwitted giants and sleepy stars who danced in the sky. They gave gentle hugs to worried little hearts and lit small lanterns made of moonlight to chase away the shadows of fear. The kingdom changed—children slept better, smiles returned to faces, and even the wind seemed to hum lullabies.

One evening, as Liora sat by the window again, she saw a shadow creeping near the village. It was not a monster, but a boy who had lost his way in the dark. Without a word, Liora stepped forward, her heart glowing with the light of the moon. She led him home, and as they walked, the boy’s fear melted away. He thanked her, and from that day on, he became her friend and helper, too.
