Russian Folk Stories: The Baker’s Moonlit Journey

In a small village nestled between snow-covered hills, there lived a kind old baker named Ivan. His warm bread was famous far and wide, and every morning, a silver-haired old woman named Tanya would come to his door with a silver coin and a smile. 'Your bread warms my heart, Ivan,' she would say, taking a loaf wrapped in a red cloth. But one morning, Tanya did not come. Ivan waited and waited, but no one arrived.
