One moonlit night, as the stars blinked softly above the forest, little Lila the fox tiptoed through the tall grass. The air was cool and filled with the sweet scent of wildflowers. She had been following a strange golden glow that flickered in the distance. Curious and cautious, she crept closer until she found it: a muffin, warm and glowing like the moon itself, sitting on a wooden bench near the old oak tree.
"A muffin at midnight?" Lila whispered, blinking her amber eyes. She sniffed the air and smelled cinnamon and sugar, just like her mother used to bake. Gently, she picked it up. It was warm, and it hummed ever so softly. "Hello there," said a small voice. Startled, Lila looked around, but there was no one there. The muffin giggled, and Lila laughed too.
"You’re a magic muffin," she said. "But why are you here?" The muffin’s glow brightened. "Because I was lonely, and I wanted a friend to share my sweetness with." Lila smiled. "Then you’ve found one!" She took a bite, and the muffin tasted like happiness. Then she thought of her friend, Pip the hedgehog, who had been feeling sad all week. "I should share this with him," she said, holding the muffin close.
Lila ran through the forest, the muffin glowing softly in her paws. When she reached Pip’s den, she found him curled up in his nest. She placed the muffin on his lap. Pip’s eyes widened. "A magic muffin?" he asked. Lila nodded. They shared the muffin together, and its sweetness filled the air, making the forest feel warm and safe. From that night on, every full moon, the forest had a glowing muffin to share with friends. And the lesson was clear: kindness and sharing light up the world, just like a moonlit muffin.
The end.
