In a quiet corner of the sky, far from the bright constellations, lived a little star named Lumi. Lumi was smaller than the others and often felt invisible. “I’m too small to shine,” she would whisper to the clouds, who would reply with soft pinks and purples, but never words. One night, the moon appeared and noticed Lumi’s sadness. “Why do you hide your light?” the moon asked gently. “I don’t think I can shine like the others,” Lumi replied, her tiny spark flickering. The moon smiled and said, “Even the tiniest light can help others find their way.”
The next evening, a young owl named Ollie flew through the dark forest, searching for his way home. He was lost and frightened. Just as he was about to give up, he saw a small, flickering light in the distance. It was Lumi! “Follow me,” she called, her voice like a whisper in the wind. Ollie followed her soft glow until he found his tree home. “Thank you,” he said, and from that day on, he visited Lumi every night to say hello.
Soon, more animals began to follow Lumi’s light. A lost squirrel found her way back, and a little rabbit discovered a hidden flower bed. Lumi realized that her light, though small, was helping many. She no longer felt invisible. The moon watched proudly and said, “You are not too small. You are just right.”
From that night on, Lumi shone with confidence, knowing that even the smallest light can guide others. And whenever the stars twinkled together, they would tell the tale of the little star who lit the night. So remember, dear friends, even if you feel small, your light can change the world.
