High in the mighty Andes, where clouds danced with snow-capped peaks, lived a boy named Inti. Inti loved exploring the steep, green slopes, following in the footsteps of his father, a skilled shepherd. One day, while Inti was walking along a rocky cliff, he saw something extraordinary: a huge condor, the largest bird of the Andes, soaring through the sky. The condor, with its wings spread like a black cloak, seemed like a majestic giant. Inti was hypnotized by its beauty and power. He watched in awe as it circled slowly and gracefully. Suddenly, the condor swooped down toward a nearby rock, its sharp claws grabbing a small rodent. Inti ran toward the condor, determined to protect the helpless animal. But when he got close, the condor did not attack. Instead, it looked at him with its golden eyes, as if it understood Inti’s good intentions. The condor released the rodent and flew back into the sky, its wings beating the air with a powerful sound. Inti stood there, amazed by the encounter. He had learned that even the fiercest creatures can be kind and compassionate. From that day on, Inti always watched the condors with respect and admiration, knowing they were silent guardians of the Andean mountains.
