Inside the cave, Mateo’s flashlight beam flickered across the walls. The stone was smooth and cool, and the air smelled of old secrets. He felt a shiver run down his spine, but he kept going. Suddenly, he heard a soft whisper, like the wind. 'You are brave, little friend.' The voice was familiar—it was the woman from earlier! She stood behind him, glowing like a star.
