Once upon a time, in a forest so green it looked like it was painted with emeralds, lived five very special friends. There was Luna, a brave girl who wore her hair in pigtails and wasn't afraid of anything—except maybe a tiny spider or two. There was Pipo, a small bunny who spoke in a voice as soft as a breeze but always had the cleverest ideas. Then there was Chispa, a fairy who was a whirlwind of energy and magic sparkles. Toto was a giant, fluffy bear who was as strong as a mountain and as kind as a hug. And finally, there was Piki, a red squirrel who moved so fast that he often finished his sentences before he even started them!
One bright morning, the five friends were walking through the woods when they reached the edge of a wide, splashing river. On the very other side stood a magnificent tree, its branches heavy with the biggest, reddest, juiciest apples any of them had ever seen. 'I want those apples!' Luna cried, pointing her finger across the rushing water. 'They look delicious!'
But the river was very wide, and the water went 'swish-swash' against the rocks. Piki tried to jump, but the water was too far. Chispa waved her magic wand and shouted, 'Zoom zoom zoom!' but all she got was a cloud of pretty pink stars—no bridge. That's when Pipo, the quiet bunny, leaned in and whispered, 'I have an idea. Look at that old fallen tree over there.'
With a happy roar, Toto the bear used his great strength to push the heavy log until it stretched all the way across the river. 'I'll go first!' Luna said bravely, stepping onto the log. One by one, the friends followed. Piki zipped across, Chispa flew over, and Toto walked slowly to make sure everyone was safe. Together, they reached the apple tree and shared the sweetest snack they had ever tasted. They realized that no river was too wide when they worked together as a team.
