Once upon a time, in a bright, sunny village nestled among rolling hills, lived three friends: Leo, Mia, and Sofia. They were all about ten years old and loved playing together. One day, wise old Abuela Elena visited their school. She carried a small, velvet pouch. "Children," she said, her eyes twinkling, "I have here special seeds. Each seed represents a beautiful quality, a way to shine Gods light in the world, just like the teachings of Jesus."
She gave Leo a seed labeled Love. "Love is patient, love is kind," she explained. "It means being helpful and understanding, even when its hard. Think of how Jesus loved everyone, even those who werent always nice to him."
Abuela Elena gave Mia a seed labeled Joy. "Joy isnt just about laughing," she said. "Its a deep happiness that comes from knowing God loves you and wanting to share that happiness with others. Remember to be thankful for all your blessings, big and small!"
Sofia received a seed labeled Peace. "Peace is about being calm and helping others be calm too," Abuela Elena said. "It means resolving arguments fairly and choosing kindness over anger. Jesus always sought peace and encouraged his followers to do the same."
Leo, Mia, and Sofia planted their seeds in their gardens. Leo tried to show love by helping his younger brother with his homework, even when he was tired. At first, he got frustrated, but he remembered Abuela Elenas words and practiced patience. Slowly, he learned to explain things clearly and his brother finally understood. He felt a warm glow in his heart.
Mia tried to spread joy by singing cheerful songs and helping her mom with chores. Sometimes she felt sad, but she remembered to thank God for her family and her friends. She even started a small Gratitude Jar where she wrote down something she was thankful for each day.
Sofia worked on promoting peace by helping resolve arguments between her friends. One day, two of her friends were fighting over a toy. Sofia calmly suggested they take turns playing with it. At first, they were hesitant, but Sofia reminded them that Jesus taught them to be kind and forgiving. They finally agreed, and soon they were all playing happily together.
As the days went by, Leo, Mia, and Sofia continued to nurture their seeds of goodness. They learned that it wasnt always easy, but by trying their best to live by the principles of love, joy, and peace, they were able to bring a little bit of Gods light to their village, making it a brighter and happier place for everyone.
