Bedtime Stories the Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time, in a cozy green valley where the sun peeked through the trees and the breeze carried the scent of wildflowers, there lived three little pigs. The eldest, named Pippin, was a thinker. The middle one, named Pongo, was a dreamer. And the youngest, named Pippa, was a doer. Each had a dream of building their own home, and each had their own idea of what would make it strong and safe.

Pippin, the eldest, built his house out of straw. 'It’s light and easy to work with,' he said, stacking the golden stalks with care. Pongo, the middle pig, built his house of sticks, which swayed gently in the wind. 'It’s tall and breezy,' he said, smiling at the sky. Pippa, the youngest, watched them both and thought. 'Straw and sticks won’t hold up against the wind or the rain,' she said. So she worked hard, building her house of bricks, one by one, until it stood tall and solid like a mountain.

One day, a big bad wolf came strolling through the valley. His fur was gray and shaggy, and his eyes gleamed with mischief. He sniffed the air and spotted Pippin’s straw house. 'Little pig, little pig, let me in!' he called. 'Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!' Pippin replied. The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the straw house down with a single breath. 'Oh no!' cried Pippin, running to Pongo’s stick house.

The wolf followed, and soon he was at Pongo’s door. 'Little pig, little pig, let me in!' he called again. 'Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!' Pongo cried, but the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the stick house down too. 'I can’t believe this!' Pongo gasped, running to Pippa’s brick house with Pippin right behind him.

The wolf arrived at Pippa’s door. 'Little pig, little pig, let me in!' he called. 'Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!' Pippa replied, her voice calm and steady. The wolf huffed and puffed and blew, but the brick house stood firm. 'I can’t blow it down!' he growled. 'I can’t even budge it!' Pippa giggled, and the wolf, tired and frustrated, slumped down beside the house. 'You’ve outsmarted me, little pig,' he said. 'But I’ll be back!' He stomped off into the forest, leaving the three pigs safe and sound.

That night, the three little pigs sat by the fire, sharing stories and sipping warm milk. Pippin told a tale of a clever fox, Pongo told a tale of a kind bear, and Pippa told a tale of a brave little mouse. As the fire crackled and the stars twinkled above, the pigs curled up in their beds, feeling warm and safe. The wind whispered through the trees, and the valley was quiet and peaceful.
