‘Good evening, little one,’ Silas said softly, his voice like the rustle of leaves. ‘I bring you a tale from the stars.’ He landed on a tall pine tree and began to tell. ‘Long ago, there was a baby who listened to the stars, and they sang to her a lullaby that made her feel safe and warm, even in the dark.’
The baby inside the womb, curled like a sleepy flower, listened with all her heart. She felt the gentle hum of the stork’s voice, and the story wrapped around her like a blanket of clouds. Silas spoke of a forest where the trees whispered secrets and the moonlight danced on the river. ‘The stars always know when it’s time for you to come,’ he said. ‘They light your way, little one, and they will light yours too.’
Days passed, and Silas returned each night with a new story. Sometimes it was about a kind rabbit who shared his berries, or a wise old owl who taught the moon how to shine. Each tale was filled with kindness and wonder, and the baby in the womb grew stronger and happier with every word.
One night, the stars shimmered brighter than ever. Silas landed on the tree and said, ‘Tonight, my little listener, I will tell you the story of your own arrival. The stars have been watching you, waiting for the perfect moment. When the time is right, they will guide you to the world, just as they guide me to you.’
The baby in the womb felt a warm glow inside her, like the sun peeking through the clouds. She listened to the stork’s voice until it softened into a lullaby, and she drifted into a peaceful sleep, wrapped in the love of the stars and the stories that carried her to dreams.
When the morning came, the mother awoke with a gentle smile and a feeling of peace in her heart. The baby had listened to the stories of the stars and the kindness of the world. And as the sun rose, the stork flew away, knowing his work was done. The baby was ready to be born, and the stars had lit her way.
