Mermaid Stories: The Singing Shell

One sunny morning, as the birds chirped and the wind whispered through the trees, Lily found a shell on the beach that shimmered like a pearl. It was unlike any shell she had ever seen—smooth as glass and glowing faintly in the sunlight. When she held it to her ear, a soft, musical sound filled the air, like waves lapping gently on the shore. 'What is this?' she whispered, her heart beating with wonder.
