Picture Story of Three Little Pigs and the Friendly Wolf

Once upon a time, in a green valley where the grass was as soft as a puppy’s belly and the sky was a perfect blue, there lived three little pigs. The oldest was named Pippin, the middle one was named Pip, and the youngest was named Pippa. They all loved to play in the fields and sing songs as they skipped from sunflower to sunflower.

One day, their mother said, 'It’s time you all build your own homes. I will give you each a bundle of sticks, and you must make your homes strong.' Pippin, the oldest, built his house quickly, using only sticks and some leaves. 'It’s done!' he said. 'I’ll be the first to sleep in my new house!' But Pip, the middle pig, said, 'Sticks are not very strong. I’ll use bricks instead.' He worked all day, stacking bricks with care, and by evening, his house stood tall and sturdy.

Pippa, the youngest, looked at her sticks and said, 'I’ll make my house even stronger. I’ll use bricks too, but I’ll also plant a garden around it, so it will be beautiful and safe.' Her mother smiled, 'That sounds like a wise plan.'

One evening, a wolf named Wally came trudging through the valley. He was not a scary wolf, but a friendly one with a big smile and a soft voice. He had lost his way and was looking for a place to rest. Pippin’s house was the first he came to. 'Hello, little pig!' he said. 'May I come in for a bit? It’s getting chilly.'

Pippin, who was not very clever, said, 'Yes, come in!' But the moment Wally entered, the house creaked and swayed. 'Oh no!' cried Pippin. 'My house is not strong enough!' He ran out, shouting, 'Wally, you must leave! My house is made of sticks!' Wally smiled and said, 'I’m sorry, little pig. I won’t stay long.' He left, and Pippin’s house collapsed in a heap of sticks and leaves.

Wally then came to Pip’s house, which was made of bricks. He knocked on the door. 'Hello, little pig! May I come in for a bit?' Pip said, 'I’m sorry, Wally, but my house is not for visitors. I’m very busy.' Wally said, 'I understand,' and left. He then came to Pippa’s house, which was made of bricks and surrounded by a lovely garden of flowers and trees. She opened the door and said, 'Come in, Wally! My house is safe, and you are welcome.'

Wally stayed for a while, and they shared stories and played games. When it was time for bed, Pippa said, 'You can sleep here, Wally. My house is warm and safe.' Wally said, 'Thank you, kind little pig. You are a true friend.'

In the morning, Wally said goodbye and went on his way. The three little pigs learned that kindness and strength go hand in hand, and that a house made with love and care is the strongest of all.
