Once upon a time in the land of Toffee Town, there lived a knight named Sir Puddles. He was not a knight of swords or shields, but of pudding pies. His armor was made of whipped cream, his sword was a spoon, and his horse was a plump, pink pig named Porcupine. One day, the king announced a contest: whoever could bring the best pudding pie to the princess would win her hand in marriage.
Sir Puddles was overjoyed. He baked for three days and three nights, stirring his pie with a twinkle in his eye. The pie was golden, gooey, and filled with the scent of cinnamon and laughter. He set off on his pig, Porcupine, who snorted and squealed with pride.
When Sir Puddles arrived at the castle, the crowd gasped. The princess, a girl with a crown of blueberries and a laugh like wind chimes, looked at his pie and smiled. But just as he was about to present it, a sneaky squirrel named Sir Squeak grabbed the pie and ran up a tree! The crowd gasped again, but Sir Puddles didn’t panic. He simply climbed the tree with his spoon and offered the pie to the squirrel with a bow. Sir Squeak, touched by the kindness, handed back the pie with a tiny bow of his own.
The princess laughed and said, “A knight who can make a squirrel blush with kindness is the kind of hero I want by my side.” And so, Sir Puddles and the princess lived happily ever after, baking pies and giggling with squirrels under the stars.
