Short Story of a Cat and the Moonlight Mailbox

One moonlit night, Whiskers, a curious tabby with eyes like glowing embers, prowled through the quiet garden behind the old Willowbrook Cottage. The moon hung high and full, casting silver light on the dewy grass and the rusted mailbox at the edge of the yard. It was a peculiar mailbox—its door was always shut, and no one ever used it.
