Once upon a time, in a sunny forest, there lived three little pigs named Pippin, Pippa, and Pongo. Each of them wanted to build a home of their own, but they had very different ideas about what to use. Pippin chose straw, Pippa chose sticks, and Pongo chose bricks. 'Straw is light and fun!' said Pippin, 'Sticks are strong enough for me,' said Pippa, 'And bricks are the best!' said Pongo, puffing out his chest with pride.
One chilly morning, the wind blew through the forest with a whisper, and soon, a thick, soft fog rolled in like a blanket. It was not a scary fog — it was gentle, like a hug. The fog curled around the trees and wrapped around the little pigs’ homes. Pippin’s straw house swayed in the breeze, and Pippa’s stick house creaked. Pongo’s brick house stood tall and firm, untouched by the fog’s touch. 'Come inside!' Pongo called to his brothers, 'This fog is friendly, but it can be dangerous if you're not careful.'
Pippin and Pippa, worried about their homes, huddled inside Pongo’s brick house. The fog was thick outside, but inside, it was warm and cozy. They shared stories, played games, and sang songs. Soon, the fog began to lift, and the forest was quiet and still. Pippin and Pippa realized that while their homes weren’t as strong as Pongo’s, they could still be safe if they worked together. They built a small wall of bricks around their straw and stick houses, and the next morning, the forest was bright and sunny again.
From that day on, the three little pigs lived together in a circle of homes — straw, stick, and brick — always helping each other and learning that the best things come when we share and care. And if you ever see a friendly fog, remember to smile, say hello, and never be afraid of the unknown.
