Once upon a time, in a sunny meadow where the grass was as green as a fresh lime and the flowers bloomed like tiny suns, there lived three little pigs. The oldest was named Pippin, the middle one was Pippa, and the youngest was Pip. One bright morning, they decided to build their own homes, each one choosing a different kind of house.
Pippin, who loved adventures, built his home from straw. It stood tall and light, like a bird’s nest in the sky. Pippa, who was thoughtful and careful, used sticks for her house. It was sturdier than straw, like a treehouse with a wooden frame. Pip, the youngest, was determined to build the strongest house of all. He gathered bricks from the riverbank and laid them with care, stacking them high and tight.
One day, a gentle but gruff wolf named Wally wandered into the meadow. His fur was gray as old snow, and his eyes sparkled with curiosity. He smelled the houses and asked, "Who lives in those homes?" Pippin answered first, and Wally blew on the straw house. It tumbled down in a puff of golden dust. Pippin ran to Pippa’s stick house, and Wally blew again. The sticks flew like leaves in a storm, and Pippa ran to Pip’s brick house, where she and Pippin joined forces with Pip to build a door and a window.
Wally tried to blow the brick house down, but it stood firm as a mountain. He huffed and puffed, but the bricks held fast. Tired and confused, Wally asked, "Why won’t this house fall?" Pip smiled and said, "Because we built it together, and we prepared for the storm." Wally, now friendly and impressed, offered to help them gather more bricks for their homes. The three little pigs and Wally became the best of friends, and the meadow was never the same again.
The moral of the story is: Preparation and teamwork help us face any challenge with courage and care.
