The Frog Prince Fairy Tale: A Tale of Kindness and Magic

Once upon a time, in a quiet village nestled between a whispering forest and a sparkling river, lived a girl named Lila. Lila was known for her gentle heart and her love of stories. One spring morning, as she wandered near the river, she heard a soft croak. Curious, she followed the sound until she found a little green frog sitting on a lily pad, looking very sad.

"Hello there," Lila said, kneeling down. "Why are you so quiet?"

The frog blinked up at her. "I’m lonely, and I can’t seem to find my way home," he said in a tiny, scratchy voice.

Lila smiled. "Come with me. I’ll help you."

The frog hopped onto her outstretched hand and followed her home. From that day on, Lila visited the river every day, bringing the frog little gifts — shiny pebbles, bits of bread, and even a tiny umbrella for rainy days. The frog, who called himself Prince Finley, told her stories of his kingdom under the water, where he once lived as a prince.

The next day, Lila brought a small wooden bucket and a net. Prince Finley led her to a hidden cave behind the waterfall. Inside, there were glowing stones and a pool of shimmering water. "This is the Heart of the River," Prince Finley said. "If I can bring it back to the palace, the curse will be broken."

Together, they gathered the glowing stones and returned to the palace. The witch, who had been watching, was surprised to see a girl and a frog. She sneered. "You think you can undo my curse?"

The witch’s magic cracked and faded, and Prince Finley’s form changed — from a frog back into a young man with golden hair and kind eyes. He bowed to Lila. "Thank you for showing me the power of kindness."
