The Magic Secret of Bellavista School!

In Bellavista School, something very curious was happening. The first-year children, oh dear!, couldn't read. No matter how hard Miss Elena, her sweet teacher, or the children themselves tried, the letters seemed to dance and hide.

There was Ana, who tried to solve the words as if they were a giant puzzle. There was Mateo, who frowned so hard it looked like it might rain on his forehead. And there was Sofía, who sighed and drew flowers in her notebook instead of practicing the 'a,' the 'e,' the 'i,' the 'o,' the 'u.'

One day, while Miss Elena was reading a story about a dragon that spat rainbows, Mateo raised his hand. 'Miss Elena,' he said in a shaky voice, 'why can't we read? The letters... they don't want us!'

Miss Elena smiled kindly. 'Nonsense, Mateo. The letters love you very much. They're just a little shy sometimes. Maybe we need a special way to talk to them.'

That night, Ana had a strange dream. She dreamed she was in a garden full of giant letters, each with a different face. The 'A' had a big nose and laughed heartily. The 'E' was elegant and wore a flower hat. The 'I' was thin and curious, always asking, 'Why?'

When she woke up, Ana remembered the dream. 'I know!' she exclaimed. 'The letters are like people. We need to become friends with them!'

She ran to school and told her idea to Mateo and Sofía. At first, they were skeptical. 'Becoming friends with the letters? That sounds a little crazy,' Mateo said.

But Ana insisted. 'Let's try it. Let's start with the A. We could draw it, sing it a song, tell it a story...'

And that's what they did. They drew the 'A' with crayons of all colors. They sang a song about a bee that flew from flower to flower. They told a story about a squirrel looking for nuts.

To their surprise, something magical happened. The 'A' in their books no longer seemed so strange and distant. It felt more familiar, like a friend waiting for them.

The next day, they did the same with the 'E.' They made a playdough cake (without eating it, of course) and told jokes. The 'E' seemed happy.

Then it was the turn of the 'I.' They showed it their favorite insects and asked it questions about everything. The 'I' seemed very interested.

Little by little, the first-year children of Bellavista School began to become friends with all the letters. They discovered that each letter had its own personality and that all of them loved being paid attention to.

One day, while Miss Elena was reading a story, Sofía raised her hand. 'Miss Elena,' she said, 'can I read a little?'

Miss Elena smiled and gave the book to Sofía. Sofía took a deep breath and began to read. At first, she stumbled a bit, but then the words began to flow.

'El... ga... to... sa... lió... a... ca... mi... nar...' Sofía read proudly.

Mateo and Ana cheered. 'Good job, Sofía, good job!'

After Sofía, it was Mateo and Ana's turn. And to everyone's amazement, they could read too! The letters were no longer shy or hiding. They were there, waiting to be discovered.

From that day on, Bellavista School was filled with laughter and joy. The first-year children, who once couldn't read, now devoured books like candy. They had discovered the magic secret: to learn to read, you just need to become a friend of the letters.

Miss Elena was radiant. She knew there was something special about her students, and together they had found a unique way to learn. And although sometimes the letters were still a little mischievous, the first-year children always knew how to make them laugh and share their secrets.
