Once upon a time, in a sunny forest not far from a sleepy village, there lived three bears named Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. They lived in a small wooden house at the edge of the woods, where the trees whispered secrets and the wind sang soft lullabies. Every morning, Papa Bear would gather berries, Mama Bear would weave baskets from reeds, and Baby Bear would giggle while chasing butterflies. Their home was warm, with a hearth always crackling, and three wooden chairs, three bowls of porridge, and three beds made with soft blankets.
One sunny afternoon, a little girl named Goldilocks wandered into the forest. Her hair was as golden as the sun, and her eyes sparkled with curiosity. She had wandered far from her home, chasing the sound of birds and the smell of something sweet in the air. When she reached the bears’ house, she peeked inside and saw the three bowls of porridge on the table. She was very hungry, so she took a spoonful from the biggest bowl. It was too hot! She took a spoonful from the middle bowl, and that was too cold. Finally, she tried the smallest bowl, and it was just right. She ate all of it and felt very happy.
Goldilocks was still hungry, so she looked around the house and found the three chairs. She sat in the biggest one, but it was too hard. She tried the middle one, and that was too soft. Finally, she sat in the smallest chair, which was just right. She leaned back and smiled, thinking how cozy it was. She was so comfortable that she fell fast asleep, right in the middle of the room.
Meanwhile, the three bears were out gathering food. Papa Bear had found a patch of ripe berries, Mama Bear had woven a new basket, and Baby Bear had been playing with a butterfly that had landed on his nose. They were all very happy when they returned home. But when they walked in, they found their porridge cold, their chairs messed up, and the smallest chair broken in the middle. They looked around, puzzled.
Then, they heard a soft snoring sound coming from the middle of the room. They tiptoed closer and saw Goldilocks fast asleep in the smallest bed, which was just right. The bears were very surprised. Papa Bear was a little worried, but Mama Bear said, “She must have been very tired and very hungry. Let’s not wake her.” Baby Bear peeked at her and giggled, “She looks like a little bear in a dress.”
The bears covered her with a soft blanket and left the room quietly. They made a new chair, fixed the bowl of porridge, and sat down to talk about their day. When Goldilocks finally woke up, she was very confused. She had no idea where she was. But when she saw the three bears, she felt a little scared. Papa Bear spoke gently, “Hello, little girl. You must have been very tired. Are you hungry?”
Goldilocks said yes, and the bears gave her a warm bowl of porridge and a fresh basket of berries. She sat on the new chair, which was just right, and smiled. She stayed with the bears for the rest of the day, and they all had a wonderful time. She left with a heart full of kindness and a basket of berries, promising to return one day.
From that day on, whenever Goldilocks passed by the forest, she would wave at the bears and thank them for their kindness. And the three bears would wave back, remembering the curious little girl who had found her way into their cozy home and made it a little more magical.
