Funny Short Short Stories: The Banana Who Could Not Stop Laughing

In a sunny grove where bananas grew tall and golden, there lived a banana named Bango. Bango was not like the others. While the rest of the bananas stayed quiet and stoic, Bango could not stop laughing. It was a loud, bouncy laugh that echoed through the trees, making the monkeys jump and the parrots squawk in surprise.

One day, a little boy named Leo picked Bango from the tree. Bango laughed so hard that he slipped from Leo’s hand and rolled down the hill, giggling all the way. He bounced off a rock, squished between two pebbles, and finally landed in a patch of soft moss. He was still laughing, even though he was a little bruised.

When Leo found him, he picked Bango up and asked, “Why are you laughing?” Bango wobbled in his hand. “Because I’m a banana, and I can’t help it!” he said. Leo smiled and peeled Bango, but instead of being sad, Bango laughed even more. “I like being peeled! It’s like a hug from the inside out!”

Leo couldn’t help but laugh too. He tossed Bango into the air, and as he flew up and down, Bango kept laughing. He landed in a bowl of cereal, giggled at the milk splashing, and then rolled into a banana split with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. He was still laughing, even though he was being eaten. “This is the best day of my life!” he said, and then he was gone, swallowed with a smile.
